Most children walk to Sciennes.
Walking is cheap, healthy and social.
The School used to have a ‘walking bus‘ (where parents take it turns to get a group of children to school together at the same time each day. Now there are numerous informal arrangements where parents take it in turns to walk groups of children to school.
Many children use small scooters to make the journey less tiring/more interesting. These can be locked to the bike racks in the playground ’shed’.
